Reaching Colleges and Universities Together

Jenandchad InterVarsity EveryCampus

Thank you again for taking the time out of your schedule to meet about InterVarsity. It was great to be able to catch up with you and share about what is going on within InterVarsity and EveryCampus.

Since we covered a lot during our time, I want to send you a quick recap of some of the next steps and a couple of quick highlights. Let’s start with a few highlights:

  • InterVarsity provides a safe place for all walks of life to be a part of a safe and caring community
  • We train students to be leaders both on campus and beyond graduation with skills in bible study, evangelism, and discipleship
  • We are working among a coalition of over 100 ministries seeking to reach the 2,500 campuses with enrollments of over 1,000 students

If you would like to learn more about the work Jen and I do, here are a couple of links to check out:

I am thrilled you are interested to partner with us in this ministry. As we discussed, here are a few next steps to consider:

If you would like to connect with others interested in praying for college campuses, you can sign up for the EveryCampus Online Community (this is relatively new, so we are still growing here). A great place to start here is the Prayer Wall space and share a prayer for a college campus.

The final step to consider is recommending us to others.

If you do have some names that come to mind for connecting with, it would be awesome to get an introduction. Below is a quick copy/paste you could consider using / modifying. If you were to message someone and it made sense to CC or copy via text and I could follow up from there.

Hi,

I met with a friend, Chad Wojtysiak, that works for a Christian ministry reaching college students and thought the two of you should connect.

I think you would be interested to learn more about the ministry he is doing with InterVarsity and a project he is working on called EveryCampus. EveryCampus is a coalition of ministries working together to reach colleges and universities across the US.

I have CC’d Chad on this message to connect with you.

And just in case you wanted to review any of the things we discussed, here is a video! In the details section of the video are time markers if you want to jump to specific parts.

Ministry Partnership

Chad & Jen Wojtysiak · InterVarsity Christian Fellowship

Of our $215K annual budget, roughly $100K is covered through program subsidies. Here’s where we stand on the $115K we raise through partners like you:

still needed

A gift of $100/month helps close this gap and frees us to focus fully on ministry to students and faculty.

We’re grateful a recent matching grant was fully met. That generosity is reflected in our raised total β€” but there’s still ground to cover.

Looking Ahead: 3-Year Shift

As program subsidies phase out over the next three years, we’ll need to replace approximately $50,000 in funding through new and growing partnerships.

What this means: The subsidy that has helped cover a portion of our budget is being phased out. New monthly partners today help us both close the current gap and build the sustainable base we need going forward.
