Since June 1st we have had eight new inquiries for Nurses Christian Fellowship (NCF) chapters, one chapter newly in process, and four chapters started! WOW! What is exciting about those numbers is that each of those chapters have the potential to reach so many nursing students with the message of the gospel that brings encouragement, care, and wholeness to the intersection of their faith and vocation.

As the new student ministries director, I am learning so much about the needs of nurses and nursing students and have had moments of sorrow as well as unspeakable joy. Sorrow over learning that Forty-nine percent of registered nurses under 30 and 40 percent of registered nurses over 30 experience burnout. Unspeakable joy as God shows up again and again and provides what NCF and I need to see this ministry thrive!

As we reach students in NCF we have the opportunity to introduce them to Jesus. Someone who will always be with them. Now, in the midst of a crazy campus schedule, and after graduation, as they care for His people in life and death situations.

Join me in prayer for the NCF chapters as they kick off this fall, that all of them would launch, that student leaders and faculty would be encouraged as they reach their spheres of influence.

At Cedar Campus meeting with two students planting an NCF Chapter.

Pray that we would plant 2 chapters a month this year reaching 150 NCF chapters nationwide!
